Google's got a tablet, too

The announcement didn't surprise anyone. More importantly, it didn't disappoint.

Google showed off its slick Nexus 7 tablet. It is being called a Kindle Fire killer.

But Nexus 7 is not Google's only new toy.

Ha, I like how the Nexus 7 title is a clever double entendre – A reference to both the Google Nexus line of products (in this case, the "7" refers to the screen size), and Harrison Ford's "Deckard" character in Blade Runner...someone who's job is to terminate Nexus 6 replicants (other Android tablets, right?), and who the film implies, might be a special model of replicant himself; a Nexus 7.
